Every family is different. Before confirming the booking, we need to know the number of adults, drivers and passengers.
Drivers must hold a valid Category B driving licence. Passenger participation will be confirmed according to age, individual characteristics, quad availability and applicable safety conditions.
Which route can a family choose?
The most suitable option depends on your available time and the composition of the group:
- 1-hour route: suitable for a first experience and families preferring a shorter activity.
- 2-hour route: a more complete alternative with additional adventure time.
- 3-hour route: suitable for families wanting a longer experience and meeting the necessary conditions.
We will advise you before confirmation so that the selected route is appropriate for your family.

Drivers and passengers
Every driver must present a valid Category B driving licence. Participants who do not drive may join as passengers when they meet the necessary conditions and the activity organisation permits it.

Salou hotel pickup or meeting point
Depending on the route and daily organisation, free pickup may be available from hotels in Salou.
When pickup is not available, we will provide the meeting point at Plaza Europa in Salou, together with the time and practical instructions.
If you are staying outside Salou, contact us to confirm the most suitable meeting option.
A different holiday memory
The Family Quad Experience allows you to spend time together outside the usual holiday activities. It can form part of a holiday, celebration, birthday or special day on the Costa Dorada.
You may also ask about optional extras such as GoPro, the Multimedia Pack or a picnic, subject to availability and the conditions of the selected route.

Can the whole family participate?
It depends on the group composition, passenger ages, number of drivers and safety conditions. Contact us so that we can review your particular group.
Can children participate as passengers?
Participation by minors must be confirmed in advance. Age, passenger characteristics, the selected route and safety conditions will be considered.
Can minors drive a quad?
No. Drivers must meet the legal requirements and hold a valid Category B driving licence.
How many people can ride on each quad?
Two-seater quads normally carry one driver and one passenger, within the authorised conditions for the activity.
Do all adults need a driving licence?
No. Only participants driving a quad need a valid Category B licence. Others may participate as passengers when possible.
Can we book several quads for our family?
Yes, subject to the number of participants and availability. Tell us your group size so that we can organise the correct arrangement.
Which route is best for a family?
It depends on experience, group composition and available time. The 1-hour route is often a good first option, although longer routes may also be considered.
Is the activity suitable for beginners?
Yes. Before departure, drivers receive an explanation of the quad controls and essential safety rules.
Will our family remain together during the route?
The organisation aims to keep the group together within the excursion, always following the guide’s instructions and established pace.
Can we change the passenger arrangement?
Any change must be discussed with and authorised by the guide to ensure safety and correct group organisation.
What clothing should we wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing, closed shoes and clothes that may become dusty or dirty during off-road sections.
Do we need to bring our own helmets?
No. The helmets required for the activity are provided before departure.
Can we add family photos or video?
You can ask about GoPro or Multimedia Pack availability to keep memories of the experience.
Can we combine the activity with a picnic?
A picnic may be available depending on the date, route and availability. It must be requested before confirmation.
Is pickup available from our hotel?
Depending on the route and organisation, free pickup may be available from hotels in Salou. We will confirm the available option.
Can we arrive directly by car?
Yes. When you are not using pickup, we will provide the meeting point at Plaza Europa in Salou.
What happens in poor weather?
If conditions do not allow the activity to operate safely, you will be informed of the applicable solution according to the situation and booking conditions.
